Ricky Carmichael plans to move to the Nationwide Series full time in 2012. He hopes to do so with Turner Motorsports.
Timothy Peters made a last lap move around Todd Bodine thanks to a push from Jason White, and held on to win the NextEra Energy 250 At Daytona International Speedway. The win is Peters’ second in the Camping World Truck Series. Most of the earlier favorites were involved in incidents, but Peters kept his fenders clean and was in position to make a move when it counted.
Former American Motorcyclist Association champion Ricky Carmichael will leave Kevin Harvick Inc at the end of the Camping World Truck Series season to join Turner Motorsports. But, Carmichael will still receive equipment and technical support from KHI. He hopes to bring his Monster Energy Drink sponsorship with him to his new ride.
Kyle Busch led 95 of 100 laps to win the Camping World Truck Series’ San Bernardino Co. 200 at Auto Club Speedway. Busch finished more than nine seconds ahead of second-place finisher, Todd Bodine.
