Richard Childress Racing has re-signed BB&T Corporation as sponsor for the team’s No. 31 Sprint Cup Chevy driven by Jeff Burton.
Richard Childress Racing is said to be still seeking sponsorship to field a fourth car next season with Clint Bowyer behind the wheel.
Todd Berrier has been replaced as crew chief of Richard Childress Racing’s No. 31 Sprint Cup Chevy and driver Jeff Burton effective immediately.
Richard Childress Racing is attempting to work out contract extensions with Clint Bowyer and General Mills. Childress said he thinks that General Mills will return to the team next season, but they still need to secure additional sponsorship for the No. 33 team.
