Keyed-Up Motorsports To Return In 2011

Keyed-Up Motorsports is planning on running the first five Sprint Cup races of 2011, according to Jayski. Scott Riggs is rumored to be the driver, with engines provided by Earnhardt Childress engines. Doug Richert is expected to be crew chief. Nothing official, however, has been announced.

KUM Closing Team’s Facebook Page, Shop Next?

Keyed-Up Motorsports is closing up it’s Facebook page, which seems to indicate that the team is closing up shop due to a lack of funds. This, however, has not yet been confirmed. There is no indication on the team’s website whether the team is shutting down or not.

Keyed-Up Motorsports, which has yet to qualify for a Sprint Cup race this season, announced that Juice Air Fresheners and SMELLmyCAR.com return as co-primary sponsor for the No. 90 car and driver Casey Mears for this weekend’s race at Bristol.
