Ford Racing unveiled the 2013 NASCAR Sprint Cup Fusion, which features design features that will give the car more brand identity.
Carl Edwards has re-signed with Roush Fenway Racing, the organization announced. RFR said that Edwards has signed a multi-year deal that begins with the 2012 season.
Ford Racing will use the company’s Fusion for the Sprint Cup Series in 2013, despite previous reports that the team wanted to field the Mustang in 2013.

Earnhardt Ganassi Racing will continue its relationship with General Motors and Earnhardt Childress Racing Technologies by continuing to field Chevys for the team’s Sprint Cup operations.
Richard Petty met with officials from Toyota and Michael Waltrip Racing Sunday and Monday, which could mean the team is considering a switch from Ford Fusions from Roush Fenway Racing to Toyota Camrys from MWR.

In 2011, NASCAR will change the noses on the Sprint Car COT to help improve brand identity and make the cars look more like their street counterparts. As a result, Ford could switch from the Fusion to the Mustang in 2011.
Travis Kvapil will drive the No. 34 Ford for Front Row Motorsports in the Sprint Cup Series in 2010. He will become teammates with driver Kevin Conway, who will pilot the No. 37 Ford for the team.
