Busch Overcomes Pit Road Problems To Win At Charlotte

kbcharl1 Busch Overcomes Pit Road Problems To Win At CharlotteKyle Busch overcame an out-of-sequence, green-flag pit stop, a subsequent pit road speeding violation, and heavy pressure for Brad Keselowski on several late restarts to win the Tech-Net Auto Service 300 Nationwide Series race at Charlotte Motor Speedway. The win was Busch’s fifth in the series this season.

Early in the race, Busch came to pit road under green, thinking there was a problem with the tire. When he left pit road, he was caught speeding and had to come back in for a pass-through penalty.

Fortunately, he was able to keep race leader Kasey Kahne behind him and gain ground as green-flag pit stops cycled through.

Top 5: Busch, Keselowski, Joey Logano, Justin Allgaier, and Ryan Newman.

Kevin Harvick, Jason Leffler, Reed Sorenson, Carl Edwards, and Clint Bowyer finished sixth through 10th, respectively.

Notables: Jamie McMurray (11th), Greg Biffle (13th), Michael Annett (14th), Trevor Bayne (17th), Paul Menard (18th), Jason Keller (19th), Steve Wallace (21st), Kasey Kahne (26th), Kenny Wallace (28th), Brendan Gaughan (32nd), Steve Arpin (34th), and Mike Wallace (35th).
