After a long rain delay, Kyle Busch rebounded from hitting the wall early in the Camping World Truck Series North Carolina Education Lottery 200 and overcame a late race caution to earn his 70th career win in NASCAR’s top three series.
Top 5: Busch, Todd Bodine, Ron Hornaday, James Buescher, and Elliott Sadler.
Mike Skinner, Aric Almirola, Jason White, David Starr, and Timothy Peters rounded out the top 10.
Notables: Matt Crafton (11th), Johhny Sauter (12th), Tayler Malsam (13th), Ricky Carmichael (14th), Brad Keselowski (28th), and Dennis Setzer (30th).
Kyle Busch bumped the wall on lap 40 while leading, damaging his front splitter. Busch lost three positions, but then made his way back to the front. After the race, Busch the car was loose and hitting the wall improved it. He said:
I made it where I could drive it. I knocked some ‘tight’ into it. This team did a great job in preparing this truck to come here, and I tried to screw it up. I guess the driver owes the car owner a little something.
