During post-qualifying inspection, NASCAR found problems with the lower radiator pans on Marcos Ambrose’s No. 47 and Max Papis’ No. 13. NASCAR found that the pans were considered unapproved ballast weight mounting, which is a violation of Rule 20-2.3, added car weight. NASCAR said the violations could carry a penalty.
