Jayski is reporting that Dale Earnhardt Inc is working to line up sponsorship for its No. 8 Chevy for 2010. The team hopes to run Jeffrey Earnhardt in a No. 8 Chevy in the Nationwide Series. DEI also wants to bring the No. 8 back to the Sprint Cup Series on a part time basis, running under the Earnhardt Ganassi Racing banner. No word on who would drive the 8 in Sprint Cup.
